The interview process was thorough. First, I met with two current members of the team. One member talked through the company culture, the structure of the design team, and where Gusto is heading. The second member reviewed my portfolio with me, and I lead her through a presentation I had created specifically for the interview. She asked me challenging questions regarding my design process, and spoke to the role they were looking to fill. During my second round of interviews, I met with several other Gusto team members, both designers and non-designers. My third interview was with the Creative Director. Each round of interviews was challenging but insightful.
