The interview process was pretty easy. I first had a call with the HR rep. Then moved forward with another interview with the same HR rep and the department manager.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Haley Guiliano (New York, NY) in Aug 2022
Interview
You just have to submit a resume and be somewhat literate in order to get called for an interview. Note: Management often criticizes people who are ‘overqualified’ for office support jobs. There is only one manager of the admin team, and she’s the big boss of everything at the firm, who will interview you multiple times. She asks weird questions to gauge your personality and your ability to follow her every order and command like a mindless automaton. You will be lied to about everything at this interview – the place and job are both described in a way that is antithetical to reality. You will be told there is room for advancement, but not only is there no such animal, but your manager will actively try to pigeonhole you into the most menial of jobs because that is all she wants and needs from you. Eventually you will be asked to interview with her boss, the COO. This is just a formality, as he is essentially a minion working for her, and then she will send you an offer letter afterwards.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
You will be asked multiple questions along the lines of ‘Can you set up a kitchen area in exactly the way you are told multiple times per day?’, along with other idiotic things like that. You’re not really asked any normal interview questions, as she’s only trying to see if you’ll drop everything and do what she says immediately without question. She’s not looking for intelligence or a mind of your own, but she’s rather looking for a servant/butler to follow commands and come running when she rings the bell at you.
Pleasant, not stressful, friendly atmosphere. Interviewed with partners and associates, a total of 2-3 times. Initial interview was with one partner, as the process moved forward, interviewed with additional partners/associates.
