    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Harrods (London, England) in September 2015.

    Interview

I began applying for jobs within the Harrods company on the 10th of August, I applied for several roles within the Knightsbridge store and most of them did not progress to the next level. I finally received (within 1-2 weeks) two invitations for a video interview were I recorded myself answering basic questions (6 in total). After that, I received an email with feedback for one of the video interviews, they said I unfortunately didn't get the job I originally applied for, but they were inviting me for a talk about working for Harrods Estates (which is the luxury residential side of business within Harrods). I said yes! Next day I met the recruiter for Harrods Estates and after discussing the roles within the sector, I was told to wait for an email with another invitation for an interview this time with a manager. I got the email within a few days and the interview was the following week, which gave me enough time to study and prepare myself for it. After attending the interview with the manager I was told I would receive feedback within a week from the interview day but on the very next day of the interview I got a call from the recruiter and the manager congratulating me on my new role. Formally, I got the job on the 4th of September.
