I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at HealthcareSource (Woburn, MA) in Mar 2016
Interview
This was very strange, and the communication was awful. After my "final interview," the HR person I was communicating with (they were "new," but that's a poor excuse) that had been very spotty in regards to returning my emails the entire time reached back out to me to let me know that I suddenly had to take the Codify test. When I asked about its place in their decision process, he had no idea, just that he was "told" all applicants had to take it. When I finally asked later, another HR rep. told me it was a "jumping off point" for interviews (so, they needed to jump off before the interview I had already taken?). Of course, they said that the extensive open-source code samples I had provided were certainly no substitute. I suppose I could have just Googled the answers like everybody else does for that test, but at that point I was so confused and frustrated by their process it was not worth the effort. The interview itself was not technical at all (they asked no technical questions), so maybe that was the point--I suppose they could not read my code portfolio?
