I applied online. I interviewed at Hotjar in March 2017.

I would have to agree with other reviews in regards to the interview process. I was sent a reply back that they liked my answers and I was on a shortlist. However after giving my answer for a minimum rate, I was no longer being considered. You would say A LOT of time and heartache by giving a range. My suggestion would to be either not to tell people that have been shortlisted or give your salary range. I did notice the time between communication was short. I tried to use my research to answer the question but guess my answer was too high. Also if you perks in your benefits, that can affect the decision, that wasn't clear. I think this process may be excluding some really good candidates. PS. I had a career in Recruiting and have a lot of experience with the interview process

    I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Hotjar.

    The interview process was odd. I filled out the initial application and was told I was shortlisted. Then I did a video interview. I was informed that I was shortlisted again. Two months later after following up, I was then told they are no longer looking to interview for the role by a completely different person that took over communications. Extensive process with a tremendous lack of communication. A lot of time goes into answering the questions, conducting the video interview only to be strung along for two months for no job interview after being promised it would be scheduled soon. Very unprofessional.
