I applied online. I interviewed at Housing Opportunities Commission
Interview
I went through one of the most unprofessional interview experiences of my life. Red flags were evident from the start. They contacted me out of the blue requesting to schedule a call that same day. They sent an invitation and then changed the time without consulting me, all on the same day.
The interview itself was fine. The questions and conversation were normal. The interviewer said she wanted to move me to the next stage and that she would reach back out. I agreed and waited. Days turned into weeks and I never heard anything.
When I eventually followed up, instead of a direct response I received automated emails promising I would hear back soon. This repeated twice over the course of a couple of weeks. It is baffling why this HR representative feels they can avoid direct communication. A minimum level of follow-up effort is expected especially when there is mention of a next step with a hiring manager.
I was reached out by the talent acquisition specialist on LinkedIn. The whole process took about 2.5 weeks. I really appreciate it how quick the responses were from the TA team, who kept me engaged throughout the whole process.

Question 1
I don’t remember specific details, but I do like the fact that it was a panel interview first then a one on one, conversational interview second.
