The interview process consisted of three rounds:
Screening Round: This was an online HackerEarth round with two coding questions. The first question was relatively simple, akin to a LeetCode Easy problem, while the second was a LeetCode Hard problem. I managed to solve both completely. Interestingly, the cutoff was quite minimal, so even solving 50% of the total could lead to shortlisting.
Technical Round: This round focused on high-level design (HLD). I was asked to design Pastebin, followed by several theoretical discussions on topics such as the ACID principles, monolithic vs. microservices architecture, etc. Overall, it was an average round, and I cleared it successfully.
After clearing the second round, I was waiting for the third round (Hiring Manager Round). Unfortunately, the HR team’s lack of communication was disappointing. The HR initially informed me that they would send an invite for the next round, but it has been two weeks now with no update. Despite seeing my messages on LinkedIn, the HR has not responded. I even received a message stating that the third round would be scheduled for Friday after clearing the second round. Despite following up 5-6 times over the following days, I received no response. This lack of transparency and poor communication from the HR team reflects negatively on the company’s culture.
