Was contacted by a recruiter that worked directly for Iridium. This recruiter said my resume was fantastic and I looked like a perfect fit, it was the highest level of flattery.
After talking about my experience I was invited to the next interview. This was an interview with the Hiring Manager, some engineers and the lead. The interview went fantastic literally nothing wrong. The day after the interview I contacted the recruiter and told them I enjoyed the interview and asked when I would hear next.
I was told I would hear within a week. The recruiter never got back to me. I emailed multiple times and finally got a response about 1 month after the interview with a "the hiring manager is not interested."
Perhaps I was too pushy with the recruiter and it deterred them, but I doubt it. I sent a total of 3 emails, once every Monday asking for an update. I was told I would hear a response by a certain day and did not.
The same week I was finally told about my rejection, another recruiter from a staffing company reached out to me. I again was flattered, then they told me they were working as a 3rd party recruiter for a company called "Iridium" I explained the situation to that recruiter and they were disappointed. Im not sure why I was not selected, I indicated to the recruiters I was not strict on the TC because it was a techstack I was not familiar with.
