I applied initially online in early 2020 and then had two interviews. The first interview was with Darian at the office and the second with Mike in a local coffee shop the following week. Both the interviews were generally casual and informal in their structure (which I liked) and allowed a lot of room for allowing them to get to know what type of person I was, but also equally as valuable, an opportunity for me to get to know them and what THEIR goals for the company are. Both Darian and Mike were very friendly, and I had a joy speaking with each of them. They are both different in their demeanor and compliment each other nicely as a ownership team actually.
I ended up taking a position with another company for unrelated reasons, but certainly not to do with anything negative about my experience with Jelly. In fact, my experience in the application and interview process, along with standard research, only made them more of an attractive option the farther in the application process I went.
To anyone considering a position there, I would highly recommend the company and suggest you just stay honest, humble and yourself in the interviews. Both Darian and Mike are passionate about their company, as they should be, and they don't bite!
