The process took 1 day. I interviewed at KPMG (Charlotte, NC) in Aug 2011
Interview
Started with a Phone Screen where the outcome was somewhat unclear for a couple of weeks. Got a call out of the blue where I was notified that I had made it to the office visit stage. The receptionist at the office, once I got off the elevator, was a little bit rude. She did not greet me with a smile (as I was accustomed to from other firms/offices) and told me I could wait in the lobby area right behind her desk.
I interviewed with a Senior Manager and a Partner. Both were extremely short-lived (30 mins) where they basically wanted to get an idea of me and what my interests were. I stressed about it and had prepared a lot of answers for questions I did not get asked. Typical questions such as "tell me about yourself" and "why advisory?" were definitely hit on. However, I was surprised that I did not get the "Why KPMG?"
Lunch with a Senior and Associate level staff followed the interviews. The lunch was nice, but I didn't get the best impression from the Senior. They struck me as a little bit conceited and trying to sell KPMG too much (at that point, I had already been sold...it was a little over the top for me)
If I had to offer some advice for other candidates, make sure to be aggressive and know where you stand in the interview. Don't wait until afterwards to wonder "well, did I make a good impression?"
All in all, I didn't get the position. However, I would have to say that I was disappointed seeing as I how I really wanted the job and felt like it was a good fit.
Pretty basic Pymetrics test with a bunch of games. There was one with balloons that you had to inflate by clicking until they popped after a random number of clicks. It was meant to judge your risk-taking mentality, and other games operated in a similar fashion.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Aforementioned balloon game. Another game where you had the choice to split a certain amount of your money with another player. A third game tested your ability to hit the space bar as fast as possible when a green dot appeared on the screen while refraining when a red dot appeared.

I applied through university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at KPMG (Dallas, TX) in Jul 2019
Interview
The staff were pretty quick reaching out to me. I had a great phone call with one of the senior managers and was called in for an in person interview. There I spoke to a director and partner and received an on site tour. I heard back a couple weeks later. All around very smooth interview process.
