I applied online. I interviewed at Kaluza (London, England) in Nov 2023
There were 4 stages to this process. 1st with recruiter, second stage was with the Head of Dept - he described the structure and purpose very well. Third stage was with the person who would have been the direct manager & a peer, final stage with internal stakeholders
- Then competency stage was focused on scenario based questions i.e. can you tell me a time where you have had to deal with conflict in a team.

I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Kaluza (London, England) in Aug 2023
Interview process was all held remotely via video calling for the stages I made it through. 1st stage was a HR/Recruiter screen for 30 minutes. Followed by an hours competency and experience based call with the Engineering Directors of the two primary products. This was followed by similar hour call with one of the other Engineering Directors around specific capabilities to do with aspects of SaaS based systems and approaches to these for the non functional behaviours. Next, and for me the final interview, was with the CTO which asked more specific questions around the current challenges and technical goals they were facing for support and resolution in this role. The final 2 stage process was intimated to be face to face with another member of the executive and HR executive and then a close out with the CEO. Feedback from the interview was I was close but the short listed candidates for the final round had more immediate and specific experience to the sector/tech challenges they were facing into at this time.
- What are the quality characteristics and metrics you would use to assess the quality of a SaaS system?

I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Kaluza (London, England) in Jul 2023
The process consists of three straightforward stages. Initially, I received a call from a recruiter. In the second stage, I had an interview with both the hiring manager and a senior product designer. During this interview, they posed several questions regarding my role within the team and my collaboration experiences. In the final stage, I presented my case studies to a panel of four individuals. They inquired about my projects and how I had collaborated with product managers and developers. the only thing that I can say is the process was quite long, (about 1 and a half months), so preparing for each stage can be tiring. the recruiter helped me a lot throughout the process, he called me to explain the feedback and why they rejected me. so I can see how they care about people.
- How do work with product managers? what are your challenges?

I applied online. I interviewed at Kaluza (London, England) in May 2023
Had an initial call with an internal recruiter followed by a zoom interview. The initial communication and interview were positive, however, I was informed if I hadn't heard anything by the week after to drop the recruiter an email which I did. After a few days I then received a call informing me that the position had been advertised months earlier in January, and that an offer was made to a candidate which Kaluza then had to retract. I was then informed the candidate had applied again and Kaluza had decided to offer the position to that candidate and the role was no longer available. I understand things like this can happen but my question would be why the role was advertised in the first place meaning candidates are taking time out of their day when the previous candidate should've been contacted again before the role was re-advertised. Poor experience for candidates overall and a really disappointing process.

The overall interview process in terms of communication and scheduling was good. But after the final round, the feedback was that they were looking for someone with more experience and would not be able to proceed further
