      Presales Manager Interview

      23 Sept 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Declined offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Küche7 in Sept 2024

      Interview

"Unprofessional and Unclear Interview Process" After four rounds of interviews and countless hours invested, I was offered less than what I currently earn—despite being clear from the start about my expectations for a 30% hike. I still accepted the offer, eager to grow and learn. But after accepting, I was told yet another round of interviews was required before the offer could be finalized. Today, after weeks of silence, they came back to "negotiate further," claiming I lacked relevant experience. If that was the case, why drag me through multiple rounds? The takeaway? Know your worth. Stand firm. Don’t let companies waste your time or disrespect your professionalism. There’s a fine line between persistence and allowing yourself to be undervalued.

      Application

      Interview

"Unfair and Unclear Interview Process" I recently went through the interview process for the Presales Manager role at Kuche7, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing and unfair. The Process: I completed four rounds of interviews, investing a significant amount of time and effort. Throughout the process, I made my salary expectations clear, specifically asking for a 30% hike from my current package. Despite this, the company offered me a salary lower than what I currently earn. I accepted the offer in good faith, thinking I could focus on the opportunity for growth. The Issues: After accepting the offer, I was unexpectedly asked to attend another round of interviews, which was never mentioned initially. Weeks later, I was informed that they wanted to negotiate further, claiming my experience wasn’t fully relevant to the role. If this was a concern, it should have been addressed in earlier rounds, not after an offer had been made and accepted. The Outcome: The lack of transparency and repeated changes to the offer made the process feel disorganized and unfair. It seemed like they were unsure about what they were looking for, which ultimately led to me walking away from the opportunity. Advice to Management: Please ensure clear communication and consistency in the hiring process. If a candidate's experience is in question, address this earlier on rather than dragging them through multiple rounds and negotiations.
