My interviewer rescheduled which was not a big deal but cut me off early in the interview as I was telling her my story of who I am and my experience telling me she only wanted to know about my last job.
If you can’t even make me believe you give two bits about me during the interview process it’s pretty clear what kind of place this is. Canned interview questions that really are just textbook sales rules (listening, etc…).
Given that I was already considering another offer, I asked about compensation and the other offer I was considering was 30% more than this position. I then told my interviewer I would like to remove myself from consideration.
60k OTE is very low for an SDR position in Austin and I could tell just based off of the interview these people aren’t serious about attracting top talent.
If you don’t have a ton of experience and wanted to get into sales this may be a good fit, but I was unimpressed with pretty much every part of the interview.
