I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Marriott International (Lexington-Fayette, KY) in Feb 2013
Interview
Sent cover letter and resume to hiring manager. Was called two days later offering an interview at the hotel. The interview lasted about 45 minutes. It consisted of asking questions about my work history, education/qualifications, situational questions and information about the company. I was contacted about a week later offering me the position.

Question 1
The situational questions required me to reflect upon a situation in my previous jobs when there was an issue with a customer. I had to explain the issue, how I handled both the issue and the unhappy customer, and how I made the situation better.

Interview
It was a pretty quick and straightforward process. I applied online, and I had an interview a week later. I went to the interview, did my background check, and a week later I got hired and started my onboarding process.
I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Marriott International (Dallas, TX) in Mar 2025
Interview
An application and online assessment, via the marrriott website. After this you set up an in-person interview on site.
However, it is an incredibly unprofessional and disorganized set up. Interviews typically happen after the scheduled time or are cancelled last minute. Very little appropriate introduction to the company's expectations for the role.

Very smooth and easy process from start to finish. They asked basic interview questions then situational questions. My first interview was with HR then the Front Office Team, then the General Manager.
