I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Mathnasium (San Antonio, TX) in Sept 2015
Interview
To apply, I sent a Resume with Cover letter to the location's manager/owner. She called me back for an interview followed by math competency tests. The first was very simple math up to junior high, and the second test was from junior high to pre-calculus. If you know math, it shouldn't be too difficult.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
If you have just ineffectively communicated an idea to a student who still does not understand, what would your next move be?
Easy middle school to high school level math questions. Gave you an hour for questions that took less than 30 minutes in total. Graded lightly as well so very hard to do bad on.

Interview
very easy interview, asked about experience and availability. The interview is also super quick and they try to know what level of math you know up to. Also need to take an employment test that has questions from elementary to beginning of high school. Need to pass this test in order to be employed.

Interview
You get asked behavioral questions, and then you will take a math test on topics from elementary to high school math. The test is not very hard and is mostly a review of classes you took before high school.
