Was scouted for a role as a technical writer. Had two phone conversations. Declined in-person visit as I was wary given prior reviews. Friendly but light on details. All positive.
A quick phone interview. Recruiter asked general questions about writing process and how feedback is handled. Some more questions about the interest in the company, what is known about it. Very general, standard stuff. Was cordial and pleasant.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at McMaster-Carr

Phone interview and in person interview at the office. Skill test and 2 more interview at the office. Felt totally unnecessary. However, enjoy the process. Interviewers ask your thought process behind the writing.
