I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Natural History Museum (UK) (London, England).
Interview
Online application, cover letter and academic CV. They emailed me that I was shortlisted and the interview was only after a week. 30-min online phone (not video) interview with a panel of three-all members of the research group, no HR- using Microsoft Teams. First an introduction from the group leader about the project, then questions about my experience and technical knowledge in relation to their project. Also some more standard ones, such as if I have ever been a member of a team. Overall, friendly atmosphere, tried to keep it as a conversation. My skills were quite relevant to the role so I found the whole process of average difficulty. Even so, after the interview (it took a week to get informed on the decision) when I asked for feedback, they said they found somebody closer to the job description qualifications.

Interview
online application followed by technical task and then an assessment day.
panel interview was quite long with detailed technical and behavioral questions. Sounds intense but its a very relaxed environment. Then theres a code review with technical leads and then a small workshop, followed by another meeting with other team members
Prepare to get lots of rest for the assessment as it's very long and you need to be sharp at every stage. Overall a nice process with friendly people. The building is really lovely too

Interview
Applied online and invited via an email to interview. There were 2 very lovely managers interviewing me - lots of double sided pages filled with questions! I had never previously been asked two sentence questions or two questions at once in an interview, so it was quite daunting as I was really nervous and found it hard to remember both under pressure while executing the STAR technique (they want lots of examples and results). The questions were also very similar so it was hard not to repeat yourself. They did try to help and rope out more information but it had already thrown me off quite a bit.
After being notified that I had not been accepted I asked for feedback and the Director very nicely took time out of her day to call me and discuss how I can improve.

Interview
Small number of candidates selected for interview and made to feel very welcome and deserving of being at the interview. The panel were very friendly. Questions were mostly very situational. Extensive feedback was provided on request (although I knew this was me personally not performing well on the day/answering the questions using my knowledge and experience rather than any reflection on the company/interview panel).

Interview
Provide an analysis of the NHM website prior to interview. Attend a panel interview, followed by a code review of a project I'd worked on, and then various 'meet the team' activities. The whole process was very long and the 'meet the team' activities felt like a continuation of the panel interview, especially one with a lone senior member of another team who had brought along my application with sections highlighted! The whole process was quite exhausting although some of the people were very nice.

Interview
Brief phone interview with agency and then an invitation to an assessment day. Group of about 20, asked to introduce ourselves to the person next to us and then relay what we learnt back to the group. Then split into groups and given an event to present and promote to the group.
