A recruiting company reached out to me and put me in touch with the Chief People Officer of the company. I had a 30-minute interview, and he scheduled a second interview with the COO of the company. The COO did not appear for our online meeting, and I emailed the interviewer to reschedule. We rescheduled and had the second interview. During this interview, I walked the interviewer through my past working experience in the medical device industry. The interviewer said, 'I am very impressed, and I will schedule a visit with the team so you can better get to know our product.' After that second interview, the COO never got back to me. I emailed the CPO and COO and even gave them a call because I know the startup life is very busy, and sometimes these types of things fall through the cracks; however, they never got back to me. This kind of behavior makes the company looks unprofessional and disrespectful.
