    Human Resources Change Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England
    No Offer
    Positive Experience
    Average Interview

    Application

I applied through a staffing agency. I interviewed at O2 (Slough, Berkshire, South East England, England) in August 2017.

    Interview

I initially had a phone interview with the Senior HR Recruitment Advisor and they were extremely helpful. I then completed an online video interview which in comparison to other video interviews I have completed, this was by far the most relaxed one as they allow good amount of time to complete and even the option to record your answer the second time.
I was then accepted for a face to face interview with two of the HR managers and that was overall very relaxed however I did lack more of the knowledge they required from a HR Change employee and I had just graduated.

    Strategy Analyst Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in London, England
    Declined Offer
    Neutral Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at O2 (London, England) in September 2017.

    Interview

Conversational - very much based on your own experiences with a case study at the end. The interviewers were both very friendly and one had my CV out in front of him. Felt the case study was slightly rushed and not really thought out, however. Usually strategy case studies are an iterative conversation where you try to obtain more data and work with it. However, a strategy-related topic was just thrown at me (note: I'm not complaining).

    Interview

I didn't get an interview for any of a number of roles that I had a perfect CV for having done identical roles at another telco for a number of years. In one instance they contacted me about the role then suddenly stopped responding to my comms - still don't know why, but all I can think of is they are ageist.

    Anonymous Interview

    Anonymous Employee
    Accepted Offer
    Positive Experience

    Application

I applied online. The process took 5+ weeks. I interviewed at O2 in May 2017.

    Interview

Interview process consisted of 4 stages.

    1. Completing approximately 5 different online tests. These are sent automatically upon sending your application off. There are various numerous, logical and multiple choice questions. Both timed and not timed. Some of them even include drawing random shapes! That one was pointless haha

    2. An invitation to a video interview which is the most daunting thing ever I find. Very weird and unatutal. Basically there are 5 questions in total and after you see the question you only have 30 seconds preparation until it automatically starts recording your answer. The questions that I can remember are WHY WOULD YOU LIKE TO WORK FOR O2? and WHY ARE YOU BEST SUITED FOR THE JOB and YOUR FAVOURITE PEICE OF TECHNOLOGY and WHERE IS YOUR FAVORITE PLACE TO SHOP?

    3. Invitation to set up a video interview. This I found was the actually so easy. I would say it only lasted 2/3 minutes. Was simple yes and no questions regarding right to work and current working notice.

    4. Invitation to face to face interview with the team including store manager. This I found the most challenging but I can't stress the important that CONFIDENCE is the KEY! If you are not confident then you HAVE to portray that you are. The day consisted of 4 stages lasting approx 90 mins.

    1. Tour of the store and meeting your 'collegues'
    2. Role play for three different scenarios and customers. You are given a brief to read for 5 minutes and then jump into the role play.
    3. General questions from the manager including Your experience, strengths and weaknesses, why you feel suited for the role?
    4. Delivering a 'workshop' or a plan of a presentation you would present as a Guru. You have approx 15 minutes to plan a presentation, or poster and explain what your workshop would consist of. You can chose your audience and topic. Once again Confidence is Key!
