Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver James (New York, NY) in Oct 2021

Interview

It was less of an interview and more of a battle royale. I was recruited via LinkedIn, after two phone interviews I attended the group assessment. They introduced the day as the beginning of the squid game and I lost interest immediately. It looks like a fun place to work if you enjoy the cut-throat nature of sales. Positive people but not my cup of tea, I would have declined the offer if I'd received one. Otherwise, the day consisted of group debates, followed by one on one interviews with each of the team directors to see where you may be a good fit, followed by a brief lunch provided by OJ. If you did well during the interviews the final activity would have been roleplaying, I thankfully got to leave after lunch, eliminated from the squid game.

I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Oliver James (Manchester City Centre, England) in Feb 2017

Interview

Four stage interview process consisting of; initial telephone conversation and then 3 face-to-face interviews with different employees within the company (Director/Manager level). Very warm and friendly approach to all interviews - interesting to hear different success stories from each interviewer. I found the process very structured and organised. You have to complete a personality test before hand and they will quiz you on certain personality traits you hold in reference to a career within recruitment.
