applied on the website and I received no response - completely ghosted. They just ignored me after I took the time to apply. Very unethical company hiring practices... how hard is it to just email back "sorry we're not moving forward with you"?

30 minute intro call followed by two technical assessments - the first a shorter set of maths/logic problems, the second a significantly longer front-end coding task where you added several features to a React-based spreadsheet application. Received good communication right up until submitting the second assessment after which I was completely ghosted despite prompting for feedback multiple times. Regardless of the size of outfit, when you're asking candidates to spend multiple hours/evenings of their own time completing assessments then the bare minimum response should be a stock rejection email. To not even do that is an unacceptable hiring practice and completely disrespectful to candidates - suggest avoiding if you value your own time.
