It was a questionnaire followed by phone interview. The questionnaire has a lot of questions that you need to write long, thought out responses to. As a part of this, you also need to generate a custom writing sample. I was asked to write a letter to the editor in response to a recent news article of my choosing.

There was one quick interview, then a written questionaire, and then an hour long interview. We talked mostly about the philosophy of social change. They usually make the decision after two interviews, but they gave me a third interview where we talked more concretely about my leadership experience.
