I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (New York, NY (US)) in February 2019.
Interview
Iwas called and screened by a recruited from Palantir. They setup two interviews that were fairly difficult. When I went into the NYC office there was not a place to put my coat so I carried it around the entire time. The office space is amazing. The lunch looked great! I was very excited about the opportunity. I had phone, video, and in person interviews and was not offered the position.

Interview
Asked about my background experience and some behavior questions. Straightforward. I could tell what they wanted in an applicant by the end and knew I would not move forward.

Interview
I had an initial phone call with the recruiting manager. He was very condescending, grilled me on questions, and was late to the phone call with no apology. Not what I expected from what I thought was a reputable company.

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Palo Alto, CA (US)) in October 2015.
Interview
Waited 1-2 weeks to set-up an interview after interest to interview me was confirmed.
Skype video meeting was conducted by a male interviewer across the country.
Interview lasted 10 mins and he asked simple questions.
My answers were concise and short as advised by my recruiter.
I've done a lot of interviews (50+) and the male interviewer did not really connect with me. He didn't really express much personality, either. Poker faced most of the interview.
He seemed to just want to get through some simple questions, did not take any notes about me or my answers like interviewers usually do, and he seemed to be in a slight hurry.

Interview
One phone and two Skype interviews all with different people. Lots of scheduling time for very short interviews. People were very friendly but seemed a little disjointed since I was interviewing with people at three different offices.

Interview
I got an invitation for an "informal interview" and I received a sort of password about whom I would be looking for. I have received an email on Mother's day (Sunday) afternoon from a recruiter letting me know, that the initial recruiter is out of town for a week.
I showed up in time, the guy at the registration desc gave me directions where to go - surpass! door closed and nobody answered the ring for 10 min. I went back to the registration desk and the guy said I need to wait. after 17 minutes or so two young ladies showed up and took me to the kitchen where we spent half hour. They asked me very simple questions and then they let me ask them questions about the company. One of my questions was, that given the fact, that I am a mature person, and most of the employees I have seen so far are very young would they see any difficulty for me getting blended in the company's culture. Her answer: they can except all kind of new things, for example she made the "commute" between offices on rollerblade.
It was not exactly the answer I expected and I am still wondering if this lady is confusing the playfulness with immaturity.
My hiring process stopped at this stage, I received an automated email saying that I don't possess the qualifications for the position. It is a shame for a recruiter saying that, because there is no point in inviting someone for an interview without having the qualifications for the position. it speaks about the recruiter not the candidate. And by the way I do have the qualifications, I do have proof for that.
I have high regards toward the company's founders and executives and I loveto read about them, but I don't have a great impression about the recruiting coordinator and my interview process. No seriosity, no respect. I hope that this parody like interview is not typical for Palantir.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (Palo Alto, CA (US)) in July 2014.
Interview
I applied through Linkedin.com and received an email short time later to answer three (3) questions that were somewhat difficult. After submitting my answers, I was asked to come on-site for an interview with the Administrative Operations Team and I met with three (3) admins. I felt the first admin was somewhat rude when I was answering her FIRST question she seemed like she was not even listening. I don't understand why I was even interviewing with admins who have no HR experience. Seem like more of a favoritism interview. The second and third admins were a lot better and I felt that I did well. However, after writing a thank you letter I received a automated system email stating I will not move forward - you would think you would receive a direct email from the recruiter to keep it more personal.

Interview
I found the job posting on the internet. About a week after I applied I received an email to schedule a short phone interview. I agreed and it seemed to be a pleasant all be it short conversation. At the end of the interview I inquired into the rest of the interview process. I was informed that I would receive another phone interview and if they were interested I could possibly have a physical interview. While I waited for the next phone interview I went on the website to familiarize myself with their interview process. A week later I had my second interview, this interview went well and the job sounded right up my alley. At the end of the interview I was surprised to find out that I would scheduled for another phone interview. Even though it was frustrating me, some of my friends who worked in the corporate world assured me that I wouldn't make it to a third interview without them being interested in me. Based upon my friends views and the websites interview practices I was excited to have another interview. Sadly when that interview happened I quickly found out that this interview was for a completely different job than the one I had applied for. I decided to go with it, I wanted to show how flexible I was. At the end of the interview I took the initiative and inquired into the next phase. I was told that if they were interested I would be scheduled for another phone interview. I was frustrated at this point, but I really wanted the job. By the fourth interview I was more than frustrated, I had spoken to different Admins each time I interviewed, not all of them worked for the department I was applying for and once again I was interviewing for a completely different job. Because of this, when I received the email telling me that I was not going to be moving forward in the interview process I wasn't upset I laughed. I feel just fine not working for a bi-polar company.

I applied online. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at Palantir Technologies (McLean, VA (US)) in April 2011.
Interview
Horrible interviewing process. Palantir strung me along through 5 seperate interviews throughout a two month period. Phone interviews, video interviews, face-to-face interviews... what a nightmare. They seemed like a great company and appeared to be very interested in me. After two months and countless hours spent driving to and from their office for the interviews, I recieved a generic "Sorry, you don't fit what we're looking for at the moment" type email. Since I had been informally speaking with one specific person through the whole process, it seemed as if I had gotten to know him, at least a little bit. After all that time, he didn't have the decency to send a personal email explaining that I wasn't chosen. I'm not expecting an explanation, but really? After months of interviews, I received a computer generated rejection notice? Disappointing.

Interview
It was a very long hiring process. It is all about impressing those you speak with to make them like you as a person, and your skills matter but your likes/dislikes matter more.

Yes, I was able to negotiate my salary though the stock options stayed the same. I was satisfied.
