One of their recruiter reached me out, she did not prepared the interview and misunderstood several thinks of my CV and my experience.
I was told they would give me feedback in three days, they did not. After two more days I contact them to ask if everything was ok. They have been gohosting me ever since.
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Penguin Random House (Toronto, ON) in Jan 2020
Interview
First round: take home writing assignment about data science and publishing.
Second round: Phone call interview with hiring manager.
Third round: On-site interview with DS and behavioral questions.
It was a very promising hiring journey. After the third round, i was even taken aside and the hiring manager was trying to convince me that the job was great and if I accepted I would not regret it.
When I returned home, I sent a follow up, confirming my interest in the role. I was then ghosted. I sent 3 follow up- emails (not including the one after the onsite) and nobody ever responded to me. Pretty disrespectful to ghost; especially after how much time and effort went into the process.
Turns out they went with an internal hire.

Question 1
"Tell me about a time when... " type of questions. They also showed charts/graphs and asked me to explain them. Then general questions about ML and DS.
