Interview
First I did a phone interview, then I interviewed in person about a week later. I Interviewed with five separate people in one day. Everyone was super nice. We reviewed my portfolio. They didn't ask any technical questions and there is no sketching test.
Quick but dry,. The interview didn’t seem invested or really care, leaving an impression it would not be an enjoyable place to work. He insinuated he just wanted out of the role he was doing

Interview
The recruiting team was very welcoming and helpful. The hiring manager was very professional but personable, however the overall interview process was VERY lengthy. I should note that I did travel to their offices from out of state but from my initial interview with HR to my last interview with the CEO I underwent a total of TEN rounds of interviews. EIGHT of which were in the same day. The day I was on sight I was given a break for lunch with the hiring manager where I was offered a bowl of soup or a sandwich and was interviewed again while I ate. It was a very grueling day. I understand that I traveled there and they want to be through, but by the end I am not quite sure I was even supplying the interviewers with coherent answers! lol. The content of the interviews were not difficult, just SO MANY of them!
The company seems to be on a good trajectory with the new leadership team and they have some good ideas on forward strategy. They have the potential to be a great company. You also get to bring your pup to work so that's a win!
