Only did a recruiter screen so can’t offer any support there. Recruiter wanted to know standard stuff - “why are you looking for a new job, why PitchBook, and what specifically do you hope to find in your next role”. After that the question was asked around salary range and that’s where the conversation ended rather quickly. For this Director Level role they want to pay 100k plus another available commission /bonuses that could push it to 125k. Unless they are just slapping the director title on a low level roll to attract a wider pool I’m not sure who would accept that in Seattle. Most tech companies will be 140k+ for a Senior Manager let alone Director. All in all recruiter was very nice but if you read through Glassdoor they all complain about low pay and a bad return to office strategy. I can confirm at least for the us role the question of low pay remain.
