I submitted my resume through a friend and had 3 phone interviews (HR and 2 with the heads of the department). The phone interviews went really well so they called me in for the all day interview that so many people speak of. To be honest it was torture and a bit overkill. I had several 1 on1 interviews and then a panel of random people. For the most part I felt good about the interviews, until I interviewed with one woman who was pretty clear that she didn't care for smart/determined women. In the end I felt like she may have been the reason i wasn't hired since a few of the people told me how much they liked me, and how much they would like me to work here and even gave me tips on future positions if this job didn't pan out. In the end, I did my best, but when I got home the 6 hours of intense interviews hit me very hard and laid me out with a killer migraine. As a piece of advice to Pixar I would say that no company needs to have 6 hours of interviews especially for an assistant position. Do you candidates a favor and make it a more enjoyable process, because remember they are interviewing you as well.
