I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Publix (Jacksonville, FL) in Jul 2016
Interview
I applied at the kiosk and talked to 2 managers that same week. I had many references that were people who worked at the same Publix for years. About a month after I applied, I got called for an interview. The interview was very easy. The hiring manager was extremely friendly and didn't make it feel like an interview at all. She asked a few simple questions and then we spent the rest of the interview just talking about different things.
Interview was fine, team member giving the interview did not care. Half of the time they were on their phone not paying attention to me.don't think of coming back to this place

There were loads of questions and a simulation on the online application. It was an easy process. Everyone i spoke with was very nice. I would highly recommend it any students looks for a great starter position or even building a career with publix.

Question 1
Several real life examples of "what would you do" type questions.
Just easy questions about me and why i want to work at publix, didn't really go into detail and was mostly simple. It's a pretty straight forward process, you can't really mess it up unless you have a bad history or criminal record
