Very typical and straightforward! I had lovely interviewers (manager & support worker) who made me feel really at ease. They don’t like to keep people waiting for the outcome either which is really respectful.

Interview
The interview process was straight forward. It was q virtual meeting on MS Team's. The only thing about this is your not tech savvy it may be hard to set up. I would suggest having a trial run with software. Some of the questions were a bit tricky but overall it was professional. Feedback was a little longer waiting than expected.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks.I interviewed at Rethink Mental Illness
Interview
The interview was very long - 90 minutes and I was asked to present on EDI strategy for 20 minutes. This was comparatively extremely time consuming compared to similar roles & salary bands I have interviewed for. I found out I was unsuccessful by logging on to my networkx account and seeing my application had been declined. I emailed the recruiter to confirm and received a generic decline email saying that they are too busy to give feedback so don’t ask in not so many words. I was incredibly disappointed in this response as it’s an organisation I’d heard great things about and it seems extremely disrespectful to a candidate’s time and effort to not even call and inform them of the decision, much less refuse to give feedback after a 90 minute interview process including a formal presentation. I gave this feedback and was completely ignored by recruitment. Very disappointing. Will not consider them again as an employer.

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks.I interviewed at Rethink Mental Illness (London, England) in 01/05/2021
Interview
I was put forward by a recruiter and Rethink got back really quickly about an interview. The interview was lovely, they seem like a very nice team. They were very professional and clear about what the job involved. The interview panel had three people, including the line manager, the director and an HR representative. I was given a writing test to complete in 45 minutes which was straight forward but normally I would leave myself a bit more time for proofreading. They were very clear about when I would hear back and kept to their word. Even though I wasn't offered the job I was given very kind feedback after the interview. All of my interactions with Rethink were wonderful - I'm sure they would be a nice team to work with.
