Rev Transcriptionist interview questions

You need to pass a toting test and submit a sample of your work to assess your writing and language proficiency skills. Then once you pass, if you are accepted, you will be able to get trained and have your work graded and paid for.

The process of the interview was carried out on the Rev website online, and, despite the long waiting times, it was pretty smooth, practical and good and I do recommend it to any budding transcriptionists looking for work.

The interview process was easy. There was not an actual in person interview. I just had to complete a transcription test. After they graded the transcription I received an offer.

Online grammar test that’s all, good for introverts, Grammar test is pretty high difficulty make sure to review the introduction lesson beforehand and use Revs grammar specifications, there will be audio that will be difficult t listen too when in doubt use the marker that says inaudible and don’t try to guess

Online questionnaire with an English language mastery check including grammar, sentence structure, and word choices. Includes a style guide quiz (you could look at the style guide as a reference) as well as a sample transcription test.

Despite being overqualified and very sure I completed the test to a high standard, I was send an automated rejection email months later with no test feedback. It would be better if they did a proper vetting process for likely candidates and conducted far fewer tests, allowing them to provide adequate feedback.

All you have to do is answer a few quick questions about why you want the job, take a quick grammar/spelling test, then give them a sample transcription and you're good to go!

The process was super easy. I just needed to do a test transcription and pass with acceptable quality. After that everything else moved quickly and I was able to start right away.

All automated - on line. Some technical ability needed. You are tested on line - and hear back within 5 days. Interesting process and not too hard if you have good language and grammar skills

no interview. I never got interviewed. the process was simple and straightforward. just wrote the test and that was it. I got approved in at least a matter of 7 days only.
