I was introduced through a recruiting agency, and the process took approximately three weeks with three interviews.
The first interview was a standard HR screening. The second, with the Sales Manager, focused on role expectations, execution strategy, and sales performance. The final interview with the CEO & Founder shifted heavily into an in-depth strategic discussion. A significant portion of the conversation was spent mapping out sales processes, channel initiatives, and go-to-market strategies I’ve successfully implemented in prior roles.
The discussion ultimately felt more like a free strategic consultation than an evaluation of alignment, experience, or mutual fit. Additionally, the CEO & Founder’s demeanor came across as surprisingly dismissive and arrogant, which raised concerns about leadership style and company culture. This experience appeared to align with some of the broader feedback reflected in existing reviews.
Overall, while the process itself was straightforward, the final stage felt more focused on extracting strategy than thoughtfully assessing a candidate.
