I applied online. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at Science and Technology Facilities Council (Didcot, England) in January 2019.

Interview

Applied online, followed by telephone interview lasting about 30minutes, overview of the company and your competencies etc. No contact for about 2 months, followed by invitation to assessment centre. Assessment centre was very large I'd say about 70 people. Quick tour, group exercise, technical interview and personality interview. Personality interview was good, interesting information from previous test, technical interview was poorly organised and had questions regarding different specialisms which weren't applicable to the role. Group exercise was poorly thought out as well I thought, the member of staff organising it was also very rude and brash to an interviewee with special requirements. Overall would have been an amazing job to have received an offer for, but wasn't impressed by the assessment centre
