Difficult interview
Application
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank in Jun 2011
Interview
Was a long process but they did treat me in a nice way and made sure I understood what they wanted. Was asked some background questions and some situational/behavioral questions. I would recommend you study up and be prepared to apply previous job experiences into your answers. The HR people were always helpful from first contact to the end of the process, made for a pleasant experience and made me feel more relaxed.

Question 1
Describe a time when a customer was upset and how you handled it?
The interview was over the phone and was fairly straight forward. I got my response and feedback that my references will be contacted the same day which was very cool!
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Chaguanas)
Interview
After 4 months from having applied for the position, the HR contacted and requested a panel interview to be held the next day virtually. There is a form to fill out with basic information, half of which is in your resume. They also need copies of all academic certificates. The panel interview involved 3 persons. They asked a few open ended questions, such as what can you bring to the company. They have scenario based questions such as a sales scenario where you have to choose a product and then sell it to them. What will you do if you aren't meeting sales targets and what would you do if someone wants a loan but cannot afford it but you're sure that they can. They indicated that within 3 weeks feedback would be provided. No response has been received (its the 4th week)
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Scotiabank (Montreal, QC) in Oct 2016

I had 2 interviews face to face. They were so gentil and kind, the questions were ordinary but i regret that i didnt get ready obvious questions which are asked often for that position, so i messed up during the second interview. It was my first interview experience in Canada , i learned a lot...
