I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Société Générale (Bucharest, Bucuresti) in Feb 2025
Interview
I had 2 interviews:
1. HR: 30 minutes
2. Technical: 1-2 hours
1. HR interview was better than i expected. I get resonable questions about my projects and one hypothetical question i had to ask in english. The other part of the interview was held in romanian.
2. Technical interview was with 2 nice young guys, very chill. The interview had 2 parts: technical questions and a DSA problem.
They asked basic-middle level java questions. Most questions can be found on the internet. Personally i have studied from geeksforgeeks list of java interview questions and most of the questions they asked me were similar to the ones on geeksforgeeks.
I think the DSA problem I get it is marked as easy on leetcode. But I don't know if it is really easy for somebody who didn't that type of pattern before. They also help you if you get stuck. Sorry i don't say what the problem was, but I don't think I am allowed to literally say what I had on the interview and I don't want to get in trouble.
Overall, the people were nice, young and chill. If you know the basis of Java and did some DSA problems, you'll be fine.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What is polymorfism?
(Sorry I don't give many questions, but again - I don't want to get in trouble, idk if I am allowed to tell this things)
