Started with phone screening with a technical recruiter, where we discussed about my experience, why I'm interested in working at Sonos etc. Then moved forward with the hiring manager where we discussed more in depth on the technology area, experience and fit.. After that, Sonos flied me to their Boston where I met a panel of interviewers who focused on different topics. Overall, the experience was very pleasant. The entire process was designed to have the team learn more about my experience, thought process and leadership styles etc.. while at same time, created an opportunity for me to learn abut the team, culture as well as challenges it company faced ahead. Every step of the way was managed and communicated very professionally and courteously. There was zero drama, both the recruiter and HM were upfront about everything and gave a lot of room for decision making. It really reflected on the culture where people are treated based on how they like to be treated.
