      Flight Attendant Interview

      25 Sept 2015
      Anonymous employee
      Fort Lauderdale, FL
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Spirit Airlines (Fort Lauderdale, FL) in Sept 2015

      Interview

I can't possibly convey how thrilled I was with this interview process. Since all are different, you never know what to expect, but this was the best experience yet. There were almost 200 people interviewing, which was a bit overwhelming, but getting chosen out of that many made it that much more thrilling. The recruiters had so much positive energy I felt it helped us do our best. They are professional, funny, and enjoyable. btw, don't forget to bring all of the necessary paperwork, id's, and your invitation. After they tell you all about their company, you get put into a room as designated by the color tag you were given when you checked in where they gave you a name tag with a number on it. (Don't forget to identify yourself by name and number throughout the process.) Once you're told what room your group belongs in, you go into that room, and they start you off with choosing a question out of a bowl, and answering it. If you make it through that cut, you have to work with your assigned group of 8-10, and are asked to create a fictitious airline. This part of the interview process was the most fun of all. Should you be fortunate enough to make that cut, you then move on to the f2f interviews. 2:1. They really go out of their way to put you at ease. They get to know a little bit about you, then do a little role playing such as having you try to sell an item off of their menu. They also have you read an announcement. Should you make it through this round, you then move on to the, "Decision Room". It seems that if you get asked to come up to the computer so they can enter your information, you have made it. If they call your name and they have not entered the info, it appeared you weren't chosen. After they enter your personal info in the computer, they move you to another room which is the final step. You fill out background check paperwork, they take your photo id, (Note: Bring two resumes with you. One to hand in, and one to use as a reference at this step, as you will have to fill out an application, and it helps to have the information handy.) You will also have to do your drug test and have your fingerprints taken at this point as well. I arrived at 7, and left at 5:30. Overall, I would rate this interview as a 10.
