I applied online through the TD website. They got back to me really quickly, and then I had to set up a phone interview. I was really nervous, and googled everything about a phone interview. I had an external monitor setup with my laptop and pre-answered the most common phone interview questions and had them written down. (Tell us about yourself, Strengths and Weaknesses, Why do you want to work for TD, Tell us about a time you went above and beyond the call of duty, etc.) I practiced my tone of voice and had a general idea of what answer I was going to say. Although it was scripted, it was said in a conversational tone of voice, with enthusiasm so phone interviewer didn't really know I was reading off my monitor. Two important things you have to keep in mind. 1) Always ASK the interviewer some questions when they ask, "Do you have any questions for me?" 2) ALWAYS ask at the end of the interview, "What are the next steps for me after this interview?" or something along those lines. I was successful and was chosen for an in person interview. Again it was taking the same answered I prepared for and have a general sense of what I was saying. Remember to smile, clarify questions you don't understand, and just communicate with the interviewers. They're people too, and just want to see if you're the right fit for the job. All behavioral questions asked, just google them.
