I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at TGW Logistics (Grand Rapids, MI) in Oct 2014
Interview
The process began with a phone screen. This call involved a conversation with the leader of the team and one of the senior team members. Over the course of the call I discussed my experience and how my goals fit with the team. The interviewers were very intelligent and knew their craft inside and out. The most important part of the conversation was making sure I was fine with the travel requirements of the position. The next step was an all afternoon interview with HR, the team leader, and the team itself. The entire team was friendly, superbly intelligent, and articulate. The team knows what sort of person they want to join them and they know how to make sure someone will fit in. There was a whiteboard question involved which was presented to the entire team.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The most difficult part is the whiteboard question.
1 Hour phone, 3-4 hour in person. Mostly just spent time speaking with a variety of team leads who asked me fairly standard questions about coursework, prior experience and plans for the future. Were open about the requirements of the job and opportunities within the company. Nothing overly unique or interesting, brief skills test that you don't need to answer 100% on.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TGW Logistics in Sept 2016
Interview
The process began with a phone screen with a HR person. She was very nice and polite. We talk for 15 min, my motivations, live in germany and that sort of things.
At the end, she told me that in 1 week max, a skype interview with a project leader would be schedule. After 2 weeks, I email her asking what's going on, no answer.
