I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at TTM Technologies (Anaheim, CA) in Feb 2020
Interview
Was contacted by HR via phone after applying online for a quick 15 minute phone screening. Setup a group interview mixer with 15 other potential intern candidates where we got to meet current engineers and managers as well as other HR staff. Was given free food and a tour of the facilities. Afterwards we are all told to stand up and answer 2 behavioral questions you choose from a bowl in front of everyone in the room as basically the interview. Felt like I was rushing a frat. I'm guessing how you answered the questions determines if you get the position. Really weird experience. I think that this interview process isn't too great and you weren't given real one on one time with a manager or engineer to fully showcase your skills and interests.

Question 1
Behavioral questions like what was a challenge you faced, how do you work with a team, and etc
Process was delayed. The hiring manager didn't show up for my telephone interview, and then when I contacted HR, the HR coordinator had no clue why the hiring manager didn't show up.
