An external recruiter has reach out on LinkedIn via inMail and has helped to setup the first interview which I found positive. After that I had a peer interview which was also positive as we talked about day to day responsibilities.
It went a bit sideways after the second interview with no real follow-up other than me reaching out to them asking for next steps. I had to wait from the 8th to the 21st January to receive the information that they have decided to go for another candidate, again I had to reach out to ask the external recruiter who wasn't very supporting throughout the entire process if I can be honest.
Here my conclusion: It is entirely fine that they have decided against me but what is not so acceptable is how they have managed the entire process given the lack of updates. I have invested time on my end and it would be great to not ignore a candidate if you are no longer interested or at least team up with a more proactive external recruiter. So based on the interviews itself it was positive but the overall experience was negative
