Lots of behavioral questions and a technical question unscramble focusing on understanding your collaboration skills and communication skills done with another interviewee. Priority here is to show the interviewer you can work well in a team.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at The Home Depot
Interview
It was really fair. Was brought into their research center to go through all technical questions. It was team based, which I thought reflected the actual work process well. I thought the entire process was quite fun and would definitely recommend all computer science students to apply.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Design a system to lock all computers on a network.
I applied online. I interviewed at The Home Depot (Zoomvliet) in Nov 2024
Interview
One HR phone call: how much experience in this or that language? tell me about your projects. Etc etc
One technical round: You and at least one other person perform a pseudocode scramble style question where you are tasked with organizing the pieces so that they build an app. (They are looking for thought process and teamwork here)
They also give you a case study to perform.
The interview process was simple and well organized. Got a call back the day after applying to schedule an online interview. Enjoyed the process of interviewing with the Home Depot
