I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at The MIL Corporation (Charleston, SC) in Jun 2011
Interview
The initial interview was an informal phone call with the supervisor/manager, who did not prepare at all prior to the call and had not read my submitted resume. The second interview was onsite with two managers, who were adequately prepared but did not have answers to many of the basic salary/benefit questions I had.

The interview process consisted of one round, with time to ask questions at the end as well. The questions were straightforward and the main goal was to determine if I would be a good fit for the position. It was a virtual interview.

This is a culture based interview. They're looking for people who will stay a long time and are willing to learn new skills. There was an initial assessment with a recruiter, a follow up interview with a director and then with a VP
