I applied on Indeed first, was contacted for a phone screen. The first red flag was being sold very hard on the job rather than asking questions about me and the potential fit between myself/my background and my job. Then I was asked for an in-person interview. The in-person interview wasn't anything awful or special, it was just bouncing between a couple of people asking me very form questions. Well, once they figured out that the "HR" person had scheduled me for an interview. They forgot that they had scheduled me. I had to push then for any sort of follow-up. Was there going to be a second interview, were they not pursuing my candidacy, etc. I have no issues being told no, it just needs to be communicated! After pushing and pushing and then finally getting an email response, I was invited in for a second interview, which they had a little more organized. I met the "CEO" who said that my resume was trash. (Yeah, I blinked at that one too).
