The hiring process at The REC HUB takes an average of 1 day when considering 4 user submitted interviews across all job titles. Candidates applying for Talent Partner had the quickest hiring process (on average 1 day), whereas Talent Partner roles had the slowest hiring process (on average 1 day).
It was quite a standard conversation with a recruiter. The interviewer was friendly, although it was hard to tell whether they were just very tired or slightly disinterested. We discussed the company, the role, and mutual expectations. At the end of the call, the recruiter promised a follow-up, which, unfortunately, didn't happen.
I applied online. I interviewed at The REC HUB (London, England) in Dec 2025
Interview
I went through an extensive interview process with the Rec Hub, including two Teams interviews with their team (one with a co-founder), an in-person interview with the client hiring manager, and three further calls with the client’s HR team.
I was then formally offered the role, sent a contract by the Rec Hub which I signed, and given a confirmed start date. On that basis I declined another offer I had on the table, which the Rec Hub were fully aware of.
Almost a week later, the Rec Hub called to say they had continued interviewing another candidate after issuing my contract and the client had decided to offer that person instead, meaning my signed offer would be withdrawn. When I followed up in writing to ask why a contract had been issued before the hiring process was complete, I received no response.
This was an extremely unprofessional and disappointing experience, and showed a serious lack of regard for candidate experience and the impact of their actions.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at The REC HUB in Jul 2025
Interview
I was approached directly by the Rec Hub's internal recruiter Pippa and had an initial chat. Similar to other people's experiences I was completely ghosted after this call with no updates after. For a company that says it places a big emphasis on candidate experience it is very strange for them to not put it into practice themselves.
I completely understand volume of candidates/applications etc... however I was approached directly for an initial chat only to be completely ghosted with any updates/feedback
