I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at The Tutorverse in Apr 2025
Interview
The phone screening was fine, and then it moved on to a Zoom interview with one manager. They asked me to prepare a lesson. The interview was cold and unfriendly. Mind you, I have over 10 years of experience with tutoring and do so up to 20 hours a week currently, so I know I'm a good candidate and a darn good tutor based on students' score increases and feedback I've received from families. I was told the next round would be in person with a panel of interviewers, which is a lot for a contract tutoring role, but regardless, I said okay. They never followed up. Got totally ghosted. Speaks volumes about how this company operates.
