I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Roseville, MN) in Jun 2012
Interview
There is not really an interview process, you fill out an enormous packet of information for a background check, medical history check, things of that sort, but they don't even take the time to actually do a background check nor peek into your medical history so it doesn't even matter, not to mention your recruiters will tell you to lie your way through the process.

Spoke to a recruiter. We talked about all kinds of things. He showed me videos. I watched them. I went to MEPS and took a test. I passed and signed up for the job I wanted.
I applied in-person. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at US Army (Nederland, TX)
Interview
After completing the ASVAB test, the process was pretty straight forward. Waited for my entry date and went to Basic Training. Completed training and was stationed. Would highly recommend for anyone interested.
