Recruiting office should enroll you in a Future Soldiers Program, which teaches you a few basic thing to know before you enter basic training. Also there is a Physical Fitness Test require, and height and weight, also background check.

Interview
There was first the initial interview with the recruiter. Secondly, one had to pass the ASVAB test. Once one has met that requirement, a complete assessment and contract obligations were to be accomplished at the MEPS station. Finally, one had to swear allegiance to the United States, US Army, and the Constitution.
