Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Virgin Media (Salisbury, England) in September 2017.

Interview

Telephone interview. Young lady range exactly on time and was very easy to talk to. Had a quick 5 mins of talking to give a brief understanding of what the interview would involve. Recieved an email 2 days later asking to attend an assessment day for the next stage.

Interview Questions

  • 1. Why did you choose to apply for Virgin ahead of the other big companies within the telecoms field engineer sector?
    2. Give an example of when you overcame a problem in your professional life and how that made you feel?
    3. Give an example of when you were put under pressure and had to find a solution?
    4. You are running late when you turn up to a customers house, when you get there she complains she has now missed an appointment with a friend. The house is a bit of a mess with toys around TV that you are there to fix. Also there are children running around. How would you react to this and how would you empathise with the customer and build a good rapport?   1 Answer
