      Customer Service Representative Interview

      6 Jun 2023
      Anonymous employee
      Mesa, AZ
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Whatnot (Mesa, AZ) in May 2023

      Interview

The interview process was very smooth. It started with a short phone call with the recruiter, talking about the position, the company, and my own professional background. The conversation flowed very nicely and wasn't too intimidating. She'll put you in some scenarios and ask how you would handle certain situations with customers. The conversation flowed very nicely and wasn't too intimidating. The next interview was a 30 minute Zoom call with the Team Lead of Customer Support. We talked about the company and went into my background and experience. We discussed a lot of the same things I talked about with the Recruiter. He asked me how I would or have responded in specific situations with customers. The energy was very friendly and welcoming. My last interview was another 30 minute Zoom call with the Head of Customer Support. A lot of the same topics were discussed. This conversation felt absolutely effortless. The last step after this interview was to submit 3 references (2 peers and 1 manager). Once I submitted those, I was contacted by the Recruiter later that day and received the job offer! The whole team of Whatnot is so friendly and easy to talk to which made the entire hiring process very enjoyable. The process took about 2 and a half weeks. The recruiter kept in close contact with me throughout the entire process, keeping me up to date and answering any questions I had.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Whatnot in Jan 2024

      Interview

the process started with a 30mins screening with the hr team, which she asked me to introduce myself, and asked questions about how I deal with difficult customers? what being proactive means to me? so kind of basic interview questions. Then another 30 minutes zoom meeting was scheduled with the customer service team Lead, and here too she asked me to tell more about myself, how i deal with angry customers,? how i react to change?and what i know about the company ?.After this stage a long assessment (take home test) was sent to me. I unfortunately didnt pass this stage which is surprising but it was a good experience overall. my advice to you all is to learn about the company principles, thier products, upload the app to get more understanding of thier activity. Ask relevant questions at the end of the interview.
