I was not experienced enough to really understand a lot of the syntax that was presented, the interviewers walked me through majority of the problems. One solution I was able to figure out involved replacing something like "myArray.getSize()" with "sizeOf(myArray) / sizeOf(myArray[0])" The interviewer mentioned that it isn't uncommon even for graduates to be unfamiliar with this sort of challenge, and I admit to have overestimating my own ability to do the job as well as underestimating the experience needed. (I applied after finishing first year on a Computer Science course)

I can't remember - think I said something about using a one-way hash function or a unique id.
